Any G16B head will fit on any G16B block as long as it still has the 16V pistons fitted. |

Jas is saying any g16b head will fit as long as the block still has the 16valve piston. G16a is 8 valve so the engine might have 8 valve piston. G16b pistons have 4 Valve reliefs per piston G16a only has two. Just buy a g16b head gasket |

The pistons on a carby head should be different to the pistons with EFI head. Head gaskets are all the same. |

To be completely clear, since there are a few strange combinations out there: Pistons in a 16 valve engine are different from pistons in an 8 valve engine. Its to do with valves, not how the fuel is delivered. |
