well the tank in my zook is now fucked. it only holds 27ish liters and has started to leak again...

so thinking about a new one...

thinking i could get the plate cut up nice somewhere in port, and just tig up a "box" as it is

with something that the fuel pump sits (in tank) in, some mounts, breather and return line and im done?

am i missing much?

id like to get around 65ltrs that would be sweet. i am over stopping every 250km for fuel on long trips!

well the one i have is for a swb and it fits in a lwb so i would say yes. and if it doesnt it would be a matter of making new mounts.
also, most long rane tank are "only" made to fit swb models, as they cant garrantee where the exhaust runs in a lwb.

i reckon it should, because it is the same tank and isnt built any higher, so it wont hit the floor...
simple way would be to get him to take all the measurements and just get under ya truck and measure, that will tell ya.
but if it doesnt fit, it will be easier to modify an existing tank than make one from scratch.

that tank looks identical to the tank we put in superdukis tin top. I will check with tape mesure in morning. if it dosent fit I will make new mounts.

why don't you see if you can adapt something up from another model. like a 60 Series or an MQ Pootrol, they both have 60 something litre tanks
