Looking to raise the rear of my 93 Vitara wagon a tad (40 mm or so would be good) and I have heard the GV springs will do it. Is this true? And if so, does anyone know the part or model number of the springs?

Also looking into King Springs and OME, so still looking at a few options before going out and buying some.

I'm pretty sure rear GV springs will not fit on yours.

The fronts fit and will raise it a bit.

For the back a lot of people recommend old Gemini springs.

I have tried this and they wont raise it at all. hope i can explain it properly.

in saying that because the coil is smaller at the top on a GV compared to a Vit it doesn't seat propery and gets stuck on the cone/bumpstop bit and makes it sit about an inch higher, so if you were to put a spring spacer on it would sit properly and therefore not raise it at all.

Thanks guys. I appreciate the imput. I think I'll just get a set of King Springs (KSRR-17) as reports suggest they will lift the rear of my Vitara around 40 mm. Which is basically what I want. Got a price of $169 a set, so not too dear.
