hey guys went for a trip out to glasshouse today and my mate started going up a hill in two wheel drive then stopped on the hill to change to 4 low and it ended up just getting stuck in neutral and suggestions on what to check. It's a WT sierra. |

In the mean time if you cant get a gear take the shifter out and put in in 2wd with a screw driver. Just move both pins up to the top dent I think it is. |

mine got stuck, just used a big screw driver and jamed the case into 4wd hi, once i got it to move into 4wd high it worked fine again |

X2 Mine was the same, got stuck in neutral in my driveway luckily, pulled the shift lever out and was easily able to shift it with a big screw driver, i stuck mine 2 High, then reassembled the lever n cup etc, works fine. I would be putting a new bush in anyway, its pretty common for them to flog out. when you do this but make sure you stick the lever back in the same position so it fits up in the hole in the tunnel. |
