Its always best to do things yourself, especially when it comes to carbs. You want to study the inside workings of your carb to fully understand it to help with future problem solving and tuning.
Start by purchasing a carby kit. Remove carb and start dismantling.
Do not loose any parts, replace all gaskets and O rings with freshies. Put it back together as it came apart.

will a carby kit contain everything to repair a carby? mine just crapped itself today so i am thinking of going this way as i have stuff all money for repairs, also found 2 cracks in the headers grrrrr
