Previously I have used a 1.6 TBI injection manifold on a 1.3 and it was a bolt on job. I can't help you much on the ECU side though as I used an aftermarket ECU. You'll want a 1.3 -> 1.6 conversion kit to make and easy job of bolting the gearbox up. Have a look in the vendor section. Any other questions just shout out. Heaps of people have done the same thing (although not so many the injection). |

Well, the conversion kit i know.. and thanks for your reply. I'm happy to hear the manifold is bolt on. now, how can i figure out if any other changes, the ecu or may be the wiring and conectors.. need to be modified. I on low-tech side, help needed. |

Seeing you're re-using the original manifold there shouldn't be anything you need to do in terms of wiring modifications. The only thing I can think of at the moment is the exhaust manifold. Because the 1.6 block is slightly higher your head will sit slightly higher as well. This may mean that the exhaust doesn't line up properly with the manifold. It's probably something you'll just have to deal with as you get to it. |
