im trying to get my reverse lights to work but they seem not to work, all fuses and bulbs are fine, so i pulled the switch of the box to see if it was the switch. is there ment to be some kind of plastic push rod thats in the end of the switch? mine dont seem to have one, if there was ment to be one in it also if i go to push some thing down the hole it start smoking. not sure if i should of done that

There should be some form of a pushrod in it... It looks like it onky has one wire coming out of it? It should have 2. |

That's what I thought. It does have two wires, just that one is hidden under the other. Any way was faulty switch. I swapped it over with a Sierra one nd now I ghave reverse lights |

I've change the plug on the Sierra one so it can plug into the jimny plug but now lights are staying on? No wires are touching each other |

Spray WD40 up the guts of the Jimny one, test it with a Multimeter. sometimes they just get gunked up |

also it started smoking and sparking when i tryied to push some thing down the hole. |
