I want to lower my zook as it's sitting to high. I only have a 40mm lift, but would like to bring it back to stock height. Running OME's all round will it drop the ride height if I remove a leaf from each pack? |

how low do you want to go? could you not remove 2 leaves & add on stock one to to each pack? (if you've got any stockies? |

taking a leaf out would do it, but you'd potentially get handling issues, and you'll need to check the shocks wont bottom out on compression. another option being that you're SPUA is lowering blocks between the leaf and the diff =P hahaha |

I'd like to go 30-40mm lower. I do this have stock springs so that is another option. |

swap the stock main leaf with the OME one, so you have the OME main and stock pack underneath... then you get the longer leaf and flatter spring. i drove a stock sierra on the weekend (suspension was stock, engine was 1.6efi - it hauled ass on stock tyres!!) the ride from stock leaves is best described as "the bumpiest fucking ride of your life" IMO.. |

maybe help the guy , or dont bother fucking his thread. you could probably make a hybrid pack using the main ome leaf or two (to get the droop) and some standard leafs. you just have to play around to get the ride you want |

I would put the stock ones back in. You will ruin the OME springs if you start flattening them out by changing in other leafs. |

sad fact is, i still have it in the shed and havent binned it where it belongs the front end was so much smoother and softer with it in, pitty everything else about it is crap. |

stockman, what rim offset do you run? widening it could be another option. mines pretty wide with 15x7 -38 rims and 31x10.5 tyres.

Just standard rims, not sure on the offset. I don't really want a big off set rims, as with narrow tyres I'm just going to fall into the ruts. |
