Ive just got some GTI seats to put in my coily. I know alot of leafy drivers have them. I noticed the leafy seats bolt to the rails downwards but my coily seats bolt to the rails from the side. Has anyone fitted them to a coily before?
As opposed to the leaf sprung, the coil sprung sierra has a different floor pan and the seat rails are mounted at different heights and mount to the seats vertically instead of horizontally. you can adapt the standard rails but you have to trim them and use some 90deg angle line. you will have to trim the rails and even with the most trimmed, they will still be a bit higher than standard seats.

thats what i had in mind but didnt want to cut these rails down. So bolt the angle to the seat first, then trim down the sierra rails and bolt them to angle? The pic is a bit dark where i need to see the angle bolted to the seat, does the 90 degree bend sit to the inside or outside of the seat?
