well as u know i picked up small little suzuki for my daylie it has 1.3 block and 1.6 head

was going great when i first got it lots of power after a few times off road it starting coughing spluttering i changed the fuel filter and it started going good then it went bad again so i thought it was dirty fuel droped tank filtered all the

fuel and its basicly the same as it was when you put your foot down there just seems to be a lack of power now untill revs get up .. when i first got it i could drop Rubber easy .. now after looking at the whole fuel system i think it could be carby maby dirty any ideas what i should look at after i take the carby off .. i also think it could be the electronic fuel pump messing up its quite nosy now any as it was not mounted properly and was just hanging getting whacked around when i first got it .. any way to test the pump any ideas thanks guys :)

Take the jets out, give em a clean (Scratch around inside with a needle of blow through with a compressor). Get some carby cleaner/throttle body cleaner and spray everything in the carby.

Let's hope it's not the carb.

Check fuel pump by disconnecting fuel line input to carb and direct to a clear bottle. Turn ignition on and check for constant flow of fuel without hesitation. These little carbs need stuff all fuel pressure but do need a constant feed.

Hopefully it's the pump because these Mikunis are a POS.

I dont know the type of carby set up, but its sounds like vacuum advance is not working.

If it was a fuel supply prob id feel it would splutter not lack power.

I agree, although I am not familiar with this model suzuki it sounds like a vacuum hose has come loose or is broken causing a lack of suction for the advance. Had this problem a few times with cars from the 60's and 70's when I was young.
