Hey all just wanting to know..

I am converting my car back to standard and using it as a daily driver just for going to work (As it was originally intended...Maybe got out of hand).

I am keeping all the bits for another project later, so not selling anything... Yet..

My question is, I have my Jimny original front radius arms, but they have the castor corrected bushes for the 80mm tough dog lift.
Could I use the corrected arms on a standard height Jimny, or would it be better to use normal bushes??

On another note, If someone would like to swap the corrected arms for standard bushed arms??
The arms are off a 2010 Jimny and the bushes had only been used for 3 months before I put in castor corrected arms.

Cool. Yeah I was thinking that would be the best option.
Would it matter if I used the other ones for now? Would it hurt anything?

DO NOT DO IT!!!!!
I did that for a while and it cused severe DEATH WOBBLE!!!!

When you lift a vehicle with radius arms like a Jimny, the castor angle decreases and it becomes less stable, so you correct the problem by fitting bushes that increase the castor or return it to a normal value.

If you lower the vehicle and leave the correcting bushes in place, you will end up with more castor - and heavier steering.

How did it go?

All good, I changed them to normal. It was just for the while until the bushes came.
Didn't experience any wobble. And the steering is always heavy with no power steering, but no heavier than normal.

I wouldn't recommend doing it as a permanent solution. But didnt hurt for the short time I did it.
