Sierra lift in a LJ?

Post subject:  Sierra lift in a LJ?
I have an OME lift from a Sierra and wanted to put in my LJ81. Does anyone know how much lift a 50mm Sierra lift will give an LJ?

From an eBay lift kit.

I'd say it varies more from the brand of springs than the car they're going under but I'm interested in this too.

I'd expect that an LJ would be around 100kg lighter each end, so 65mm from a 50mm lift makes sense.

I put some std Sierra springs on my LJ50 and it lifted the front 60mm and the rear 40mm from the sagged heights.

And the OME springs are only 40mm lift for Sierra!

That's good to know!

My springs are so sagged that I reckon if you put them in upside down you'd almost get lift!! :lol:

I would be lucky to have 10mm clearance on the front bump stops. Does not drive nice like that.

Right now I've got about 35mm but it's just a chassis with a stripped cab and the steering on it.

I reckon I could get it to sit on the bump stops when it's done.

A family friend has some 1 litre spring that have no arc in them.... And they aren't attached to anything! 8O
