A) sort of
B) no
C) tour? God no. They are about the last thing you'd want to go any distance in. They are pulling about 35464454467 rpm @ 100km/h, they have funky ergonomics and are noisy.

It's all about the right tool for the job, and a carry wasn't designed for touring. A Falcon wagon would be heaps better than a carry.

went to steep point in mine at easter, lift kits exist in the form of strut spacers and extended shackles for a couple hundred bucks but thats about it, they handle awsome on road as the driveline is centralised and mounted low. good luck finding one tho.

heres mine
