| Post subject: | WT... NT... WTF? |
I'm considering killing a banged up NT roller I just looked at to save my WT but have a few Q's first to see if it's worth it. 1. Are NT and WT body mounts the same? I'll eventually need to replace my front driver side mount, it looked ok on the car I just saw. 2. I could be tripping, but the NTs front end inner guards looked different to my WTs, can you replace the outer guard easily or is it a fair job to sort it out? Also, can you swap out a whole NT front grille panel onto a WT... or once again is it a helluva lot of work? 3. Will a NT towbar fit a WT? I didn't pay it much attention, but on after thought it might be a handy addition. |

It was a 1984 one litre... might have been the different motor/airbox arrangement, but seemed like less spare behind the headlights |

Was it regoed? I'm after a 1 litre with rego.

Nah, no rego. It's the red on the Gumtree at the moment. Not 100% complete, but at $500 was a pretty good deal - good interior, good front clip, A1 chassis - check it out: http://perth.gumtree.com.au/c-Cars-Vehi ... Z320200382 |

http://perth.gumtree.com.au/c-Cars-Vehi ... Z320200382 Thanks, they advertised that on here too. I'm just after a regoed Sierra that I can thrash around in so I don't have to rush the LJ. There's one in town that's just been sitting for months, considering going and asking them about it. I kid you not, it's a camo hardtop with a flown up bonnet and Maxxis Bravo tyres! Haha

if its an 84 the body mounts may be the same. Is it the model with the plastic dash? |

My bad - it's an 85. Still it's a one litre 4 speed. Dash is a plastic top with no vent holes and steel underside. |
