Hola! :helloo:

Now as much as I wish she were a tardis I've quickly come to the conclusion that I need to whack some racks on our recently acquired Zuk (91 Sierra). Rather than fall foul with an impulse buy I thought it sensible to ask a few of you guys instead.

So, what brand of roof racks are you using & what model Zuk you driving?

hey mate I have a set of rola roof racks for a hardtop zook I am not using anymore.

If you want them they are yours for $150 pickup.

What ones are the cheapest to get for a hardtop

Rola Racks definitely look the nicest IMO, but they're not necessarily the most practical because the rail is curved to follow the roofline, not flat.

Here's mine. They're actually cut down Landcruiser racks that I got cheap and bought correct brackets for. You'd never tell that the curve is slightly off though. Lots of photos but should give you a good idea what the Rola Racks look like on a hardtop.

Pretty strong too BTW. I've sat on the front one (moved further forward near the A pillar) for a few hours while out hunting, and had all my weight on the back one too while climbing onto the roof.

i'm currently using Rhino Racks, the "industrial" ones not the sports ones, stuff can fit them them Easier, spcifically if you want to put bazooka tubes *PVC pipes* for tent poles etc.. plumbing places have specific bracks for these roof racks..

i drive a suzuki 1996 X-90..

they look kinda cool.. i'll check if i have a pic later ;)

Thanks for the replies so far!

Dank, thanks for the offer. They're a little too streamlined & curved for my taste- trying to find some squared tubed flat racks to make mounting a carrier easy.

Abraxix, I'm leaning more towards something like the Rhinos also, purely because of their flat profile, square tubes and the ability to attach a small cargo basket on top. If you do manage to dig up a pic then that'd be awesome.

Keep those recommendations coming people;)

Mine came with Rhino sports racks. I wouldn't buy the sports version because most of the accessories don't fit them. They're really just for tying stuff down to.

Rola Rack for the win. Sit SUPER low and mine are flat on top.

I've got Rola racks, but rhino HD racks have more accessories available, especially for the tradie.

however you can make rhino gear fit onto rola racks with a file of the the holding plates that slide in the rails of the racks.
