you will need gearing to run 33s but it will be worth it!
it will change your zook experience in the bush and you will have more clearance under your diffs aswell. 31s are fine 32s are great and 33s will be even better, though i would not reccomend 33x12.5, they are too fat and you will prob break something, try 33x10.5

Whats your gearing consist of?

You will still need to hammer alot out of the guards, Move your front diff forward, Bumpstop extensions, more fuel etctcetc.

Imo, i wouldnt even bother if your just going to run AT's..

I had the same decision, 33's won in the end. Now to start making them fit :D :D :D :D

With an angry injected motor, gears lockers and 33's, I never broke a stock axle or cv.

Mechanical sympathy goes a long way.
Drive like an idiot, you can break axles on a stock vehicle.

For the OP: If you're running AT's, you don't need 33's on a sierra. End of story.

Ok guys I've decided to go with 31s it's a bit cheaper and less dramas, Im getting my rims powder-coated from white to black there 15". Should all be done by the end of the week. I'll put pictures up as I go along. Thank guys

Future mods are:
UHF radio
Rear tow bar with wheel and gerry on swinging gates
Roof rack that can come on and off
Lightforce headlights
Snorkel
2" shackles

transfer gears should be added to that list in my opinion, i run 31's with stock gearing, long story short, Sometimes I get overtaking by bicyclists on steep hills..

Well you wouldn't want to break something when you go wheeling, so 22's are the obvious choice!

My 31" A/T BFGoodridges are on!!! 4 days over due!

31" BFGoodridge =
$305 each at Bob jane t-marts in North Perth

and also got my rims powdercoated from white to black, there was very little rust so no sand blasting was needed.

15" rims powder coated =
$30 each at Slake Powder coating in Jandakot

They are running smoothly, engine is handling them well. still quiet fast being a 1.3 L with extractors. doesnt feel like i need gears changed.

The only problem is if i turn full lock the front right rubs against a bolt holding the lift sping together. (easy fix "turn the bolt and nut around" i think)

... oh and i dont know how to add photos. help?

Your easy fix sounds correct!

You need to host pics on an image site like photobucket or imageshack then paste the sharing links in here. They will be the ones with Image on them :)
