At around 2000 rpm it chockes itself and won't hit it's full speed like it did 2 days ago could it be timing or time for a new engine?? It sucks no like its slow enuf already lol |

2nd stage in carb could be problem. Sometimes cracked or loose vaccum hoses can prevent it opening. Or even a hose come off. I also had this happen when I massaged the gurds for bigger tyres, pedal wasn't able to move fully. A spacer fixed that. |

I found a broken hose fixed that buy still dos it. Dos have a secondery? It fella like it runs on secondary's |

Just fixed it It had water in a vacuum line that controls the rev up when lights go on bloody strange car tempted to injected 1.6 now over this stupid carby hahha but wouldn't mind a 1.6 with a webber ether see what the bank says how's your car going? |

Glad it was a simple fix. 1.6 is nice, but by no means hassle free. EFI is clearly a bonus, but finding blocks without cracks can be a challenge. The new engine nearly together, swapped cam etc over today. Need new water pump, then I can put timing belt back together. Then sump and oil pick up. Then ready to put in. Once my whizz bang new engine mounts arrive. |

Got to be a world record for slowest engine transplant But yes, I want to get it all right, so I can get a long run without issues...hopefully |

Perfection takes time hopefully it all Payes off for you Yer sue blows the good stuff well makes interesting hahahah lookin into rebuild or a 1.6 not to sure yet hopefully figure it out soon see what happens |
