Post subject:  How to install a body lift?

Hey guys,
hate to open YET another thread but I've done a few searches and it comes up with like 8000 hits so really I cbf looking through all of them...

Basically I am looking for a body lift to go along with my current 2'' SUSPENSION lift, can yous give me some makes and a walkthrough of how to install them?

body lift is easy, depending on how much you want, one inch shouldnt be a problem, 2 inch you might need to start looking at extended brake lines/steering shaft etc. im not to sure about that tho.

easiest to do if you have a hoist and good jack, transmission jack and some blocks would work well. or on the floor with a trolley jack, but cant imagine thats much fun

lift blocks you'll find on here in the business directory, ebay, lowrange. heaps of places.

btw, im pretty sure i had a look at that rig when it was for sale not long ago... unless its a different one ?

i got 1.5" rhs as lifting blocks

Ignore this dodgyness^^^. Buy a justcruizin kit, they come with instructions. In the buisness directory under BYE products. :wink:

agree, get the just cruizin, very easy to follow insturctions and i didnt have to toouch brake lines

X2. Just take it slow and keep checking stuff. If you're doing a LWB the two extra blocks go under where the back seat latch hooks to the floor.

Lifts the transfer case above the bottom of the chassis. Good idea if you are doing a bodylift.
