Hey guys, my mate has blown his radiator in his auto Vitara, has 1.6 carb .

I had a spare manual Vitara radiator lying in the shed, just dropped it off and he"s rang me back saying that the auto ATF lines run into the radiator, I never looked his myself so I can't clarify but ATF lines running through the radiator sound a lil weird, normally they go to an ATF cooler infront of the radiator, can anybody clarify please, hopefully save me a 40km round trip

Cheers kermy87

it's quite common for the ATF cooler to be in the radiator.

Another stupid question, if he gets an external ATF cooler, is it low pressure or high pressure??

It's return, so low pressure but a high'ish flow

Cooler's can be had from ripco for around $90
