OK got the air intake sorted. What to do with the exhaust system. 2010 Jimny 1.3 manual. Suggestions.

1 3/4" or 2"

Cats are not cheap here, Thats why i got mine from lowrangeoffroad..

Depends on your budget, and how noisy you want it.

Have a read of my post titled Manifold Cat from a few days ago. You will have the same issue on a 2010 model if you want to fit extractors. There are also a few other threads of Jimny exhaust upgrades to read as well.

I still don't know what issue's you are talking about? My self and Drew both have extractor's on out 09/10 model jimny's :?

i agree, i dont see the trouble, it obviously works as there are new jimnys running extractors without any problems.

Well that is actually what I was wanting to find out in the other thread.

When you removed the manifold precat (I assume your manifold had one of these) did your ECU throw up any codes or do you get the engine warning light coming on say on cold starts. Sounds like the answer is no.

Final question then is whether it is legal to remove it but I am guessing that was not a problem for you guys. Did either of the exhaust places that did the work for you comment on that? My guy was not willing to proceed once he saw the manifold cat. Said it was not legal to remove it.
