he just bought another sierra with a g16a and a blown gearbox.
my old one i put a injected g16 in it with a adapter plate to fit the sierra box, this doesnt have a adapter plate and have been told by the local wreckers its not a vitara box and they didnt have a sierra one to look at,
can anyone tell me what this is????

Looks like a normal Sierra 1.3 box with tabs welded on for the wider bolt spacing.

yep thats how they used to do it before adaptor plates come along

you could get the same done to your new box or just get an adaptor plate and off you go with any box
