im looking at putting the radiator in the back they are a toyota 22r motor highly modified and then i can run lux running gear and a big supercharger
but im going to see if they can build a 4agze race motor before i go buying one of these

why not drop in a small v8 like a 253 and then inject it :) plenty of torque, revs and hp :)

ill get the grinder out and cut the front 4 cylinders off to make it lighter 4 cylinders is enough for me

Post subject:  Re: doa racing engines

if he's going to go to the extent of chopping the engine bay to pieces to fit a race 4 cyl, im sure he can beef up the suspension in the front to compensate for the weight :) + Weld a solid steel tray to the back to even it out :)

we tried a 302w and c4 in farm hack wt had to bolt the transfer case staright on the back of the gear box, the shifter was some distance behind the front seat, kinda worked. Turned an awesome little paddock basher into a terrifying trouser wetter, fun till the till the trannie case tore out.
bent the chassis too. trying to find a photo of it. the engine fitted in fine if you could find a shorter gear box it would ba much better and they only weigh 210kg
