Hi all.

Im currently converting my Sierra to a lux ifs box, (lux diffs etcetc) I am wondering what pumps everyone is using?

I think i need a Toyota pump with Multiv pulley. Is there such a thing? Will make engineering easier as then its all Toyota..
I also have a AU Falcon pump, mulitv, well known for their leaks, and are common, But will there be enough pressure for the lux box? I have seen one run with a cruiser box, but still unsure.

But what have others run?

Other info: G16b efi Suz motor, Lux diffs, 35"s. Minimal offset rims

Thanks for any help.

lots of buggy guys up here run modded falcon pumps and seem to do ok, they are the older type with the tank built in though

The polyvee pullied falcon pumps we've played with have been nothing but trouble - belt slippage has been the biggest issue. I think both guys that set up on them down here have gone back to vitara.

(that's with a vitara box)

Steve.

Mine has the tank built in, Tear drop shape. From memory its off an Au?

It has a 6pk pulley but will only be running a 4pk belt. A Jim ac compressor will also be on the same belt with a seperate idler/tensioner

Falcon pump will run a lux box no problems.
Even better if you mod it for increased flow/pressure.

Cool. I will mount it and test it then. Mod if needed later.
Thanks guys
