hey guys just posted a similar post in my build thread but not getting any attention. Im stripping a LWB vitara for parts for my SWB g16b efi conversion and currently am stripping all the wiring out. got a few questions.

1. When removing the wiring to the doors of the LWB (central locking and power windows), would simply cutting the wires going to the rear doors cause any problems?

it would be much quicker and easier and i wont need them as they are going into a 2 door. Also doubt know if il convert the SWB to power windows and central locking.

2. If i was to convert the SWB to power windows, would the mechanism and all that work? i know the SWB doors are slightly smaller :S

What about if i use the mechanical window winder? out of the other LWB donor? My passenger window on the SWB is stuffed because the barrel thing in the mechanism is all jammed up with the cable, hard to explain.

thanks in advance

Don't know about the LWB mechanism, but I'm rebuilding my SWB winder right now for the same reason.

You can get the cable from a bike shop.

I'll do a write up with photos tonight after I'm finished.
