Just thought i would add my 2 bobs worth. My Sierra died recently and I couldn't find the prob. I tried all that I could think of. It would start and run if you kept pumping the ecselorator, but died on any steady revs. Turned out to be a blocked jet in the carb. The carbie kit in it and she lives another day. |

ZookFan
Likewise, good to put real people to web names. You still have a little way to go. Some new spark plugs won't hurt. Need to check if its got a thermosat in it. The carby will be the next. The list goes on............. Hey I was in your shoes a couple of years ago too and through the many helpful guys on this site I am now able to help others out too. Keep learning. |

Ran it for about 5 min last night before the smoke got too much.. oil dripping from tappet cover onto exhaust ... thought might need to change the Gasket before I run it any longer |
