Hi Guys, On Sunday my standard rear shocks busted, and have been wanting the Calmini's for a while. Who has purchased them recently? Who from , and what did the shipping cost to Sydney or where ever you are? Also, does anyone know if the Snake Racing Calmini is exactly the same product or theirs has been tailored to suit them. Somone told me the shocks, springs and that rear bolt joint is not the same. (Higher grade.) Regards, Damien |

Not sure on the snake racing saga you are best of ringing them about it... they have a toll free 24/7 hotline... as for the shipping, i think it cost me around the 400 dollar mark to get mine to the front door. Pretty cheap considering. |

Yeah I'm guessing a salesman of snake racing told you that shit to try and justify their $1200 markup |

They are in here & on the top Rh corner of the site..... ![]() Anything beyond Calmini direct, Low Range Offroad, Snake racing & Cal Offroad? I recall someone selling them on Gumtree about 6 months ago for $1500. Already here in Australia, but this may have been a limited grey import effort on an individuals part as opposed to a business. Oh well, I'll wait for the quote to come through from Low Range Offroad, and see how steep the shipping will be. |

camini direct, then lowrange.... don't deal with any of the austrailian on sellers, they'll rape (with no lube) you for their profit margin. |

I am too scared to order it from Calmini. 6 weeks ago they went bust (allegedly) From Australia it would be hard to stop them running off with my money. |

Steve I could reveal the sources but I'd rather not. What I can tell you thou is right now there are Australian sources selling it way below what they normally sell it for which to me is a sign of conformation people businesses may be off loading this soon to be unavailable product. I don't want to start a roumor so please don't even start suggesting that. I hope that if there is some truh to this someone will buy them out and continue selling it. |

Hang on a second buddy Remember back when you asked me about advertising here I said that sometimes you will cop some bad press about things but we are Australian and do things differently, this is one of those times So how about you email me which paypal account you would like a refund sent to, ill remove you from our advertising and we can go our separate ways, legal action threats and rubbish like that would be hard for you to achieve based on one alleged comment and this all being in Australia. |

Oh my, I heard the train but didn't think it would hit full speed! Threatening legal action towards a fellow AusZooker based on one poorly thought out post is Ludacris. All it takes is a message to Royce and I'm sure this can be cleared up without any further damage. FWIW I just payed for my second Calmini 3" Lift. Can I get a shirt |

Hi Calmini, thank you for posting a response on this thread. Yes it my name is Damien. To make it clear, I am not suggesting anything. I am stating a fact. The fact is that I have been informed during a telephone converation with a suspension specialist selling your product, that Calmini went bust 6 weeks ago. I put in allegadly, to ensure people know that it's not confirmed and should not be considered true. For the record, I love many Calminis products, and hope that Calmini will be around for many years to come. If you want to do some research into this matter, I'll give you a clue. If you go a Google search from Australia by typing in Calmini and restricting it to only Australian sites, the business that informed my is on the 1st 3 pages. I will go a step further and tell you they are located in either WA or ACT, and as you now also know they have a website. During the coversation I was told they were actually going to organise to have Calmini removed from their site as a product offering. My phone call reminded them of that. Calmini as you know in some cases the more successfull/popular a business/person becomes the more evil & jelous eyes there are. You may have had a disgruntled reseller for your product, I don't know, however if you deal with your business partners the way you deal with me here on the post, than I can only imagine why they may be disgruntled. * Moderators, if you guys want this post removed please feel free to do so. |
