no. I use a wire brush all the time on the bench grinder at work. Makes things shiney and new again. |

As long as what ever the wire brush is made out of is weaker than the thing your buffing it'll be all good! |

Meh, Even a steel wire brush is fine on threads. Do it all the time to clean the loctite out of them. |

Haha stainless wheel on thin plate didnt work too well for me |

well yeah, i guess the thickness/grade depends.. Your not going to brush your teeth with a scrubbing brush..to coarse. |
