G16B.. J20... H20/25/27 Bellhousings.... Does anyone know if any or all of them are the same bolt pattern? Thinking the buggy might need more power than a G16B can deliver... H25 would be nice if it'll bolt up... I currently have a G16B with a Vit manual bellhousing bolted to a hilux gearbox with an adaptor. I want to know if the engine block OR the gearbox flange on the bellhousing is same for these engines. |

3RZ is tempting... Even a Hiace 2RZ would be great but it is pushing the ability to still call it a Suzuki. Mind you an RZ is almost a bolt in fit now. |

not sure if this is any help... taken from 303zuke's Vitara box/Hilux transfer thread, quitea few pics... http://auszookers.com/index.php?name=Fo ... pic&t=9848 303zuke wrote: The bellhousing and input shaft will fit a 2.5 V6 and the 2.7 V6. Although not used with this gearbox, I understand the 2.0 V6 has the same bolt pattern and will fit this bellhousing. The bellhousing to gearbox pattern is one of the more common adapter types available. For stock factory engines, you could choose from the Suzuki 2.0 V6, 2.5 V6, 2.7 V6, Toyota 2.2lt L, 2.4lt 2L, 2.8lt 3L, or 3.0lt 5L Diesels. Any of the bellhousings used with the W series boxes and Petrol Y family of engines will also fit. Mazda RF 2.0lt Diesel, Peugeot 2.0lt Diesel. Jeep 4.0lt straight 6 or 2.3 4 cyl. Aftermarket adapters are also made to this pattern for Holden V6 and V8 and Red 6 cyl, and even the vintage Ford Sidevalve V8!! kit |
