Post subject:  how to undo bolt

i am trying to replace the front and rear main seals, but i am stuck trying to get of the centre crank bolt.
any tips on how to do it

yeh im not stupid. its really tight, the rattle gun wont undo it, i was wondering if there was a special way to do it

Just double check before you do it, but put the spanner on and run a pipe down to the floor then hit the key it should spin the right way to undo it... Then go back to your rattle gun... Then swing off it for a while... Then come back tomorrow and you'll undo it with your fingers :roll:

yes the starter undid mine took a couple of hits though and a rattle or two

x2 if that doesn't work, get a longer breaker bar and a longer pipe

And there are rattle guns and rattle guns. If your using a $50 supercrap 'bargin', you may as well try undoing it with your teeth. A few drops of oil every now and then can do wonders for a rattle guns usable life span.
