Post subject:  glued in windscreen removal?

anyone with any skills in removing windscreens? It's an X90, but i assume the procedure is the same for all cars with glued in windscreens.

It's already broken so doesn't matter too much.....

but.... is it possible to remove a windscreen without breaking it? or is that too much hassle?

cheers

i've seen a filleting knife used quite successfully, don't use your good one though... it will never be the same.

I've been at the wreckers during a widscreem removal. They rip out a shut bonnet cable and use the cable to slide in between the glue and screen.

I assume they would use a tool some thing like they use to cut clay
Thin wire on a handle
