Just wondering if the Jimny has an external bolt diff/transfer plugs instead of the square inverted ones on sierra's and do they fit?

Did all the gear oils on the weekend and they were a pain in the arse to get off. Plus I went looking in the tool shops for a 10mm square socket and no luck.

Cheers
Tom

Just use your 3/8 ratchet or extension.

you can get replacement plugs from any hydraulics or fittings shop (enzed, pirtek, tony powell etc...)

you want a 1/2"BSP plug. you can commonly get them with hex head or allen key head, but other styles may also be available.

I bought new ones from LRO as mine were very rounded out:

I didn't think to try any fitting shops, cheers!.

I don't have a 3/8" set either. Only 1/4" and 1/2" and from a quick look all the 10mm square bits on ebay are only for 3/8 sets.... I guess i could buy a 1/2 > 3/8 adapter then buy one of them :/.
