Post subject:  Electrical fault finding: Brake lights and indicators

Can anyone give me some tips on how/where to start troubleshooting electrical faults with zook lights?

Haven't driven my zook for a couple of months while I was working. Just finished a fair bit of tinkering including dash remove/refit, new pedal box, fitted a brake booster etc.

Now whenever I step on the brake pedal, the drivers side indicators all light up solid.
Brake lights light up at the same time, drivers side brake light is dull.

I'm assuming it's a short between power for the brake lights and the indicator?

Any thoughts on where to start looking?

There's a bad or missing ground on the driver's side rear - the current flow is through the driver's side brake lamp, through the driver's side rear indicator, through the driver's side front indicator to the front ground.

Cheers mate you're a legend.
It would have taken me all day if I didn't ask. Ended up fixing it in 15 minutes.
Found the dodgy earth, cleaned up the earth point and crimped up a new earth strap.

Good as gold now.
