Hey mate Only real option is to do a fair bit of custom work to get them to fit. In any Sierra Pre SJ80 its a piece of piss but you would have obviously found the coily floor pan and seat rails went full retard. I used some 90 degree angle line, trimmed a lot of the standard rail mounts and drilled new holes. if i'd known at the time, i would have done a full tech write up about fitting them. One of the biggest hurdles is that one rail is higher than the other and its either a lot of trial and error or make sure you measure it right the first time. Most aftermarket seats will bolt straight to them after this mod, he's the only pics i have. hope this helps. |

yeh i adapted the gti seats to 90 angle, cut the higher seat rails down to size and bolted the angle to the seat rails. Its not reversable unless you buy new rails. Also the seat belt thingos bolt to the higher side on both rails, so if you cut them down you need bolt them down lower. Worth it in the end. |

I am in the process of doing the same thing, however I am planning on using 50x50 90* angle for the high side, and 75x75 90* angle on the lower side. My thoughts with this is that I should be able to end up with a flat base to bolt the GTI seats onto, without having to cut and redrill the rails (and should avoid the issue with seat belt mounts). I haven't had a chance to have a decent look and measure yet, so I could be wrong, tis just an idea. |
