Hey there guys, just a few questions, has anyone used those ironman shocks before? and if so what did you think of them? would Rancho's or tough dogs be a better choice? (SPOA Leafy Zook) also what is the closest to standard offset i can use in on a rim when running 31's? thanks heaps guys |

That depends on your budget, use, and what shock lengths the car was set up for - I'm going to assume it's not running stock shocks currently? I like OME or Bilstein myself, I'm not a fan of Rancho, and have no opinion about Ironman or Toughdog. It all depends on what your are trying to achieve vs what you have now. Softer/harder ride? More travel? making custom mounts? Have custom mounts but don't have shocks yet? As for offset - You can run any offset you like depending on guard clearance, spring clearance, WT/NT, how much steering spacing you are running/are willing to run, how wide you want the car to be, what size rims you are running (7's, 8's?) There's no problem running 5P offset on a 7" rim and 31's, depending on the above. I think you need to ask some more specific questions. It's pretty hard to answer questions as broad as yours. Steve. |

Standard offset on SPOA?? Umm....... As for shocks, your best will be to measure up what open and closed lengths you will need as what suits one setup may not suit another, especially SPOA. |
