Not sure of the year at this moment, as the car is at another guys place getting preped for paint.

But the colour im looking for is the dark green (like the one in the link below my last post).

So, I may adopt some flex in how standard it is.. cus I like that Green no matter which year LJ it was on :). Unless there is a better shade..

Am I correct that they also came in Yellow, White, Brown, a very light blue, red and then just the Green or, where there stacks of others colours?

Thanks!

G.

The first green I can find is 1987.
Teal Green paint code 27G.
Before that there so no green in the list I have.
No listing of sirrus green on any Sierra that I can see?

Thanks guys.
Looks like 11h Richmond green is the closest to the one in the link.
Hope that makes sense to the painter.

cheers,
G

after spending ages trying to figure out the factory color codes
I went and looked through all the paint color chips from my pianters suppliers then I chose my color.

I got exactly what I wanted . it's a modern color, so heaps easier for the painter (no one off mix ups) and easier in the future for touch ups etc.

When I got some mixed up for my tintop I just said "Dandyish Brown". Apart from a funny look from the bloke behind the counter, that was enough info and he was able to mix it in either enamel or acrylic.
