seems like the automatic choke stays on and revs at about 2000rpms when at a stop, how do you fix ?

Mine does the same thing. The coolant passages in my carby are corroded solid!

My solution until i can find a new carby or something was to re-set the idle so it revs at about 1200 when hot which means about 300 rpm for the first minute or two when cold.

I cant bring myself to spend $600 on a reco carby from suzistore :(

My Zooker is an 1986 sierra 1.3 there isn't anything behind the accelerator and everything looks ok and when it starts up it's fine but once it starts to warm up it just stays at about 2000 rpm. maybe its the coolant passages ? not sure evry time I muck around with I seem to do more damage to it.

If you twist the accelarator linkage on the carby (half round thing the cable goes on) twist it up to full throttle you will see a screw underneath, turn it 1/2 or one turn anticlockwise, I think this ajusts the choke revs.
BTW with the engine off.
