I am trying to figure out why the ride quality in my jimny is so "harsh". it has a 50mm dobsions lift kit with gas shocks. the coils feel quite soft and the Jim flexes well but it stiff as on the road.. I have been told that gas shocks are not the go? |

Lifted spring's are h/d ( anything is to the stock's) but with the dobsions in the rear of the Gv it rode like a bobcat. Even the lovell's were a better ride & most think they are to stiff..... King make a wide range of spring's, but may be cheaper to swap shock for a start... |

oh i know that they will be stiffer than stock but this is well beyond a joke... i am pretty sure its in the shocks, the truck still flex's well they just feel like the bound/rebould is far to heavy for this size car. |

OME springs and shocks = VERY soft OME springs and TD gas shocks = Very Firm I have found it doesn't always come down to the springs |
