Has anyone removed this horrible piece of plastic and done a weld or bog job to make the whole B pillar flush ?

how did you do it? pics ?

The reason I ask is that I have a fibreglass canopy and where the rubber meets the panels of the tray and B pillar it has a spot at that trim that lets the rain and weather through and I am trying to eliminate that problem and make it just flush across there.

thoughts ?

Weld some sheet in or work out a better seal with foam etc.

I like the plastic doova. Would look abit plain without it.
