Hi guys, sorry if this has been already talked about but i couldn't really find much info on the actual conversion. I own a 2004 non VVT M13a I'm currently bidding for http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/SUZUKI-SIERR ... 500wt_1413Its from a 89 sierra 1.3, and has been rebuilt with stock ratios. I was wondering what else i would need to complete the conversion, I've heard i need a conversion kit also and was looking at the Off Road Armoury one called CRAWLER BOX CONVERSION KIT, anyone know if this kit is compatible and what else i would need for install. PS. I'm a noob and will most likely get a local 4x4 shop to install. Reguards, Michael.

You'll need the ORA conversion kit, and any sierra parts that it requires.
As for that TC you are bidding on, I wouldn't pay any more than $400 considering how long since it was rebuilt, it has no drive flanges, and all standard internals were re-used. Given that its an 89 model case the gears could have around 300,000kms on them for all you know.
Not to mention that the listing specifies absolutely no detail as to the extend of the rebuild, and what was replaced.
My 2 cents.

As FZ said you need the ORA conversion kit. They are about the launch a new kit next week, with new mounting arm's, that picks up 12 mounting points instead of 8 and it also come's with a uprated speedo drive kit. Another member on here and myself have already pre-ordered our kits. You will also need to find a Wide Track jack shaft and a Wide Track front drive shaft. You may also need manual hubs to, but i'm hoping that the auto hubs will still work with the sierra t-case I picked up a 92 (i think) wide track t-case for free the other day in good condition and also brought a another t-case with 4.16 gears fitted for $150 (need's a re-build tho)....
