Has anyone had there door stop closing properl? Mine has stopped latching can this be fixed or do I need a new latch.
Its currently sticky taped shut and im not to keen on using passenger door for much longer.

Yeah the latch has quite a few moving parts in it. Probably best to pop your door card off and see if the link rods etc are jamming it. You may nee to remove both side door cards to compare the working one to the dead one.
Should be something simple though. May just need a good clean and lube.

also make sure the latch on the b pillar side hasn't moved.

Have you tried manually testing the latch by pushing on the tongue with your finger? It could be that the mechanism is fine but the door hinges have sagged slightly so that it's out of alignment. There's adjustment (play) in the strike and latch to realign this if I remember correctly.

hybrid, i havent had a chance to play with it yet. however its not taped up and its shut today. i will have a look tonight hopefully its an easy fix thanks for the help lads
