does anyone know if a 1.3 gti head will fit a 1.6 carby motor?? if yes, what would be required to make it work? if no, shiiiiitttt |

no. u need fly cut pistons. (g16b) one that is sorted u will have a low compresion last motor. |

The GTi is a 16 valve motor. The 1.6 carby is an 8 valve motor. At the very least you would need to fit G16B 16v pistons, as they have an extra relief cut into the top of the piston to clear the extra valves. So short answer is, no.....not without mods. |

I have looked in2 gti/1600 a few times, more work than its worth. |
