There's three paths - either leave all the original wiring in, and just create an engine loom for the G16B
take out all the G13 carby wiring and create an engine loom for the G16B
or wire the whole G16B loom in - but you will need to use the G16B steering column etc as all the plugs are different.

In a G13 engined sierra, I'd strip the carby engine wiring and make up a G16B engine loom.

There are relatively few wires that need to go to the computer from the Sierra loom - ignition +ve, -ve, VSS, fuel pump wires, check engine light, engine start.

The first option steve listed is the easiest. Its not the neatest, and means you can pull the g16b later and return to stock easily, if need be.

Do you have the g16 loom, and just want it chopped and modded down, and labeled so you only have to meld in a couple of wires, and connect a few earths?

yeah i was thinking of leaving the loom complete and getting the car running, then slowly chopping what i knew i could, i dont mind a bit a wiring in there i dont need, but id like to remove atleast the easy chop off stuff.
