Hey guys, Im just wondering how much of an effect running 235's with a front lockright will have on the driveline particularly the cv's? Ive got a 95 swb wt sierra running NT diffs, and thinking if I ran a front locker, body lift, and 235's I'll have a pretty capable rig without breaking the bank. Dont want a rear auto locker as the thing is my daily, and I prefer being locked in the front end of a swb vehicle (pulls thr truck over obstacles rather than pushing the car up (and over)... any advice greatly appreciated Armsup

It will be capable and should be reliable unless you are super abusive.

Shouldn't cause you any dramas if you don't abuse it. I have done multiple CVs, locked and unlocked on 235's, but im always flogging it or really loading the CV up when they go.

Good news all round then! I'm coming from a comp lux engineered on 38's to a stock sierra, so she needs some mods haha. As the car only cost me $500 (with only 120,000 on the clock... booyah!) I dont want to spend big. Dreaming of 31's and crawlers, but would prefer to get out there and have fun while saving.
