Post subject:  Suzuki Sierra bell housing

Everyone, I need a bit of info. I'm currently doing a 1.9TDi conversion on my Sierra and am wondering if someone can. Help me with the bell housing of the gearbox. Is this a removable bell housing? Or is it a one piece module off the gear box. I can see myself having dramas mating it to the new engine, but in saying that, they mate them somehow in the overseas market samurais. Any help appreciated.

Not removable mate. Its a split case, with removable rear extension housing.

Just buy the 1.9TD adaptor kit from the states, and save yourself a massive headache!

Yeah cheers fatzook, not long after the post, I got my Suzuki EPC working and found the gearbox diagram. Luckily, I've found a new 1.9TD gearbox( well the case assy) to fit the engine I have already, so things are looking good. From what I see and Suzuki tell me, it will bolt directly on the 1.3 case extension. Time will tell I guess. As for the rest, its just a case of buying parts for the engine bay. Fortunately, I have made a contact overseas who can supply everything so it's all about the $$ now. I think looking at rocky road and what I've spent, illl probably go a little over their price, purely due to freight costs.
