Hi people, What is the biggest size all terrain tyre i can put on my sierra 1.3ltr without having to change gearing or having it affect my top end speed? Thanks. |

If you specifically want AT's, without gearing or changes to your onroad characteristics, you'd be best advised to stick to the factory size. |

You can, but why do you want to? You could go from 205/70 to 215/70, but with AT's the offroad experience will barely improve if at all, and you'll have a smaller selection of tyres to choose from. |

Someone can correct me if im wrong, but if he HAS to stay to that size, wouldnt it be better going for a mud terrain? Dunno what hes after though, better off road or just something bigger? |

Do they even make a mud terrain in 205/70? But what's the point? I would save my money for when I destroyed something for lack of ground clearance. |

I mainly want just bigger tyres bit more clearance and stuff I hardly ever drive in really muddy stuff |

Sierras have no power and barely good enough gearing standard, if I ever owned one again I would change the gearing even if I planned to keep standard tyres on it |

I run M/Ts in this size with standard gearing and a 1.3 and have no trouble cruising on the highway at the speed limit - even up Brisbane's Gateway Bridge. |

x2 on the 215/75... no bigger if you plan on doing rockcrawling. having said that, i ran 31's on stock WT gearing for a while, and its fine on sand and in mud, just be warned, low range gets a lot of use, and 5th gear wont get touched even on highways  BFG does AT and MT tyres in the 215/75 size, dont know what other companies do |

mate, i gotta stock as a rock coily with 30" maxxis buckshots no lift or any thing and its fine |
