Discovered i have a problem with the drivers side lower control arm ball joint. Its gone dry and is squeeking when the steering turns. Does anyone know if they can be pulled out and replaced? I remember years ago that it could be done but now days every thing is a throw away part. Suzistore want $360+ per side for a new arm with ball joint . 2nd hand ones are something like $100-$165 each depending on what wrecker you call. I can order 2 replacement arms for $143 on ebay from the states but they want $200 for postage.....Way cheaper than i can get locally If i can get them replaced ill do that but if not ill buy some new ones from ebay. |

Mine are bolted in, maybe you could do something with. or modify for early Vit ones? No idea if arms would fit on a GV. |

GV Calmini arms are probably the only solution |

Looking at the GV Calmini control arms it looks as though they use the early model Vit's ball joints. It probably won't hurt to see if you can buy just the control arms. http://www.lowrangeoffroad.com/index.ph ... ystem.html damn net connection, atari beat me to it. |
