i have a 93 sierra . the 5 speed box in it has 4 switches (plugs) on top of box..

the spare 5 speed box i have has only 2 switches (plugs) on the top.. could it be a coily box or a
early sierra box. is there a way to tell the difference.

If yours has 4 switches then it is from a car that had AC.
If the other only has 2 switches it is from an early 1.3 without AC.

Really? What do the other two switches do? Mine has 4 and all the wiring but never had A/C

1 is rev switch. 2 are 4th and 5th connected to emissions bits..I assume 4 must be AC related..Have onlt seen 2's and 3's
I put a 1.3 into a 1.0 zook, had no where to plug them, so left them unused.

The AC switch is neutral if memory serves.. 303zuk wrote it in a similiar thread to this.
