heya
i just bought a full rebuild kit off ebay to suit a g13ba engine but the kit that i got says it suits a g13a
the only difference that i know of is the difference between the timing belts (width,round or square tooth)
its a g13ba engine im rebuilding out of a 92 wt sierra to put into my 82 nt
can anyone help me out with this

one is 134cm something
other is 1298cm (g13ba)
and yes timing belt ,, square vs round
measure bore if its had a previous rebuild it could be 0.5 or bigger oversized ?...

I just wonderin if the rebuild kit i got will fit or not

99% will fit.
All seals and gaskets are same. Head gasket is only a tiny bit different but not enough to worry about.
Timing belt is different.

I just double checked and both the G13B and G13BA have a 74.0mm bore so head gasket definitely will work.

Stroke is different by 1.5mm

I just wasnt sure about the head gasket because of measurements and how its set out for the water jacket passages into the head etc
