G'day all, im fairly new to auszookers and 4wding in general and iv been looking into buying some Sunraysia rims and ive found some that are 15" x 7" and the offset is +3P, -12N... im not to sure about what offset is and if the rims will suit my swb sierra with 2 suspension lift, and im still not 100% sure on what tiers i should get for this rims so im in need of some big help from all you experienced zookers!!

Maybe you're starting around the wrong way? surely you'd choose rims to suit your tyres?

Well i thought it will be better to get the rims first then finding a decent set of M/T for it other then my stock rims with all terrains on them, but if you think it will be better by doing it the other way round then maybe i should look in to doing that.

Thanks

It's only that offset is normally a function of the tyre size you intend to run - offset is really all about trying to prevent the tyres hitting the chassis/shock mounts etc.

at -13 the inside edges of the rims will be in the same position as standard, but the outside edges will be 37mm further out than stock.

at +3, the inside edges of the rims will be 17mm closer to the chassis, and the outside edges 21mm further out than stock.

Most people would recommend -13.
