G'day all, im fairly new to auszookers and 4wding in general and iv been looking into buying some Sunraysia rims and ive found some that are 15" x 7" and the offset is +3P, -12N... im not to sure about what offset is and if the rims will suit my swb sierra with 2 suspension lift, and im still not 100% sure on what tiers i should get for this rims so im in need of some big help from all you experienced zookers!! |

Maybe you're starting around the wrong way? surely you'd choose rims to suit your tyres? Steve. |

Well i thought it will be better to get the rims first then finding a decent set of M/T for it other then my stock rims with all terrains on them, but if you think it will be better by doing it the other way round then maybe i should look in to doing that. Thanks |

It's only that offset is normally a function of the tyre size you intend to run - offset is really all about trying to prevent the tyres hitting the chassis/shock mounts etc. at -13 the inside edges of the rims will be in the same position as standard, but the outside edges will be 37mm further out than stock. at +3, the inside edges of the rims will be 17mm closer to the chassis, and the outside edges 21mm further out than stock. Most people would recommend -13. Steve. |
