Im having trouble getting the bolt undone. is it left hand or right hand thread? |

regular thread. i used a 3/4in rattle gun to get mine out. Tough bastard, try heating if you can but impact is your best bet |

Best way is to get 17 mm socket on a breaker bar and lock it into place and give your key a quick turn, works every time |

Yeah got it. Hardest bit was holding the engine still (wasnt in a car) I used two 4m bars to get it undone. Anyway the block and crank I scored are in good nick |

What happens next can range from nothing at all, to someone or something getting nailed by a rapidly moving breaker bar and 17mm socket. You don't need ignition, you just need the motor to crank over on the starter a few turns. |

thats what i mean u just tick the key so it cracks the bolt pretty simple |
